Gathering up her closest celebrity pals, Kate Beckinsale celebrated her 35th birthday (which happens to be today, July 26th) with a fancy shindig at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills on Friday night (July 25).

Among those joining in on the fun were Kate's hubby Len Wiseman, along with David and Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, and Dustin Hoffman, who brought his wife Lisa Gottsegen.

The whole group was shuttled in and out by a heavy duty security team, with Dustin Hoffman's driver reportedly nearly hitting a pedestrian as their car made a quick getaway.

Meanwhile, in related news, it was just announced that the Kate Beckinsale-starring thriller "Whiteout" is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 24, 2009 by Dark Castle/Warner Bros.

The movie, which is based on a novel by Greg Rucka, tells the story of "Carrie Stetko (Kate Beckinsale), who is a lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica whose investigation of the continent's first murder draws her into a shocking mystery."

It seems that there’s always a constant struggle between good and bad with Amy Winehouse. And yesterday the troubled singer ditched her healthy lifestyle for more of her partying ways.

Earlier in the day, her family came to her home to support her during the first visit with her new personal trainer. But the positive direction was quickly replaced by her self-destructive tendencies.

Last night, the “Rehab” songstress was spotted drinking (a bottle of Smirnoff) and smoking (what looked like a hand-rolled cigarette, hopefully!) with Mick Whitnall of Babyshambles and gal pal Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace.

"When she told me she had met this guy and was in love, I said, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever.' But then I went to her house and it's obvious to tell she's a changed woman."

And Paris concurs. "I feel like I'm really grown up. I'm an adult now. I'm in a really great relationship and in love, so I stay home a lot."

Taking time away from her newfound motherhood, Jessica Alba was spotted doing some shopping in Beverly Hills, California yesterday afternoon.

And the “Good Luck Chuck” babe seemed none too happy that the paparazzi caught up with her as she held her head down and tried to avoid the shutterbugs.

Looking as if the recent A-Rod affair/divorce rumors have taken their toll, Madonna was looking a bit run down as she was spotted leaving the Kabbalah Center in New York City on Friday evening (July 25).

Right on cue to help verify rumors that she's turned to psychic medicine, Cameron Diaz was spotted leaving what sources on the scene described as a "mysterious doctor's office" in Hollywood on Friday (July 25).

Our insider tells: "The supposed doctor's office is placed in a house in central Hollywood. Still unsure whether it's a pyschic's home or some type of new age medicine joint. Nonetheless the famous actress is trying to heal!"

Following her visit, Cameron left the office in good spirits - smiling and waving to a homeless man on the street before jumping into her eco-friendly Toyota Prius.

As for the psychic visit rumors, Us magazine recently reported that Cameron visited a seer named Mrs. Grace, bringing along her “What Happens in Vegas” co-star Lake Bell, with the duo seeking “guidance and to know what’s up ahead.”

Mrs. Grace reportedly told the magazine that she saw “marriage and kids” and a “beautiful future” for Diaz and her new boyfriend, Paul Sculfor.

It's official! Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's custody settlement was reportedly signed on Friday by the judge on the case, which brings an end to what's been a nearly two-year custody battle.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, K-Fed kept sole custody of their two sons in the deal - agreeing to allow Britney two visits and one overnight per week with the chance of an additional overnight as long as there aren't any setbacks before year's end.

Of the finalization, Britney's attorney Laura Wasser told People magazine: "She's thrilled. To have more time with her kids has been her motivation to get well. In light of her outstanding conservatorship, she couldn't have asked for anything more."

Meanwhile, Federline's attorney Mark Vincet Kaplan told press: "This has been a long ordeal [for Kevin] and for it to be over makes him very happy."

Even after the “Fight Club” stud issued a warning that he would sue any publication that published photos of his family’s French chateau, the paparazzi were relentlessly pursuing pics, which led to a scuffle.

According to French authorities, two camouflaged paparazzi ended up in a physical fight with Brangelina’s security guards yesterday (July 24th) outside of their Miravel home.

Still hard at work on her return to network television, Katie Holmes continued along with the filming of her guest spot as a nonprofit attorney on "Eli Stone" in Los Angeles on Friday (July 18).
