He continued, "It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits."

Barack Obama’s people also slammed the video saying, "These comparisons are outrageous and offensive and have no place in the political process. We hope that John McCain will offer a similar condemnation as his allies increasingly practice sleazy swift boat tactics."

Although she's currently facing a backlash over her romance with married father-of-four Balthazar Getty, Sienna Miller was getting nothing but love in London on Tuesday night (August 26).

The 26-year-old "Factory Girl" actress was spotted visiting with friends, as she got a big smooch from an elderly gentleman upon saying her goodbyes.

During a recent interview with S magazine, Sienna spoke out about the negativity surrounding her relationship with Balthazar.

"The biggest misconception of me in the press is that I'm a slut. Apparently I've slept with half of Hollywood," Sienna said. "You say, 'Hi, nice to meet you': the next day in the papers you're pregnant with his child."

Doing her best to entertain her fans, 21-year-old reality starlet Heidi Montag has just recently released her latest music video “Overdosin”.

The pop song is about falling in love and is said to be written about Miss Montag’s passion for her "Hills" co-star beau Spencer Pratt.

When reporters asked Montag if her next single would be inspired by wedding bells, she joked, "I'm waiting for the ring to make that song."

As for Heidi and Spencer’s participation on "The Hills", Montag tells: “I think that maybe Lauren is tired of [being on the show], but we're just beginning. We're not even remotely sick of it."

On-hand at the Democratic National Convention on Monday night, actress Anne Hathaway told press that she wasn’t sure how she first felt about presidential candidate Barack Obama - revealing that she was hesitant to trust Obama because she had placed her trust into other candidates and been let down before.

"I've been burned by politicians before that I wanted to believe in and just didn't live up to it," the newly single star explained. "And I was afraid to trust him and I was afraid to have hope when I first kind of became aware of him."

It was Obama’s speech on race that swayed the Get Smart actress’ opinion, as she tells: "I just said, 'I can't deny how I feel about you, Barack Obama. I want you to be the president. I want you in the White House,’ I just heard the other day, he just paid off his student loans two years ago. And so when people talk about financial issues and the higher cost of education, he really gets it. I think he's the sort of person that inspires us all to be our best selves.”

Hathaway went on to explain that most people feel that there is a perception that "we're all out of touch. How could we possibly have an awareness of what real Americans feel and think and need because we just ride around in limos and - I don't know - buy diamonds all day long?"

"But I don't know anyone like that," Hathaway told. "I'm certainly not like that. I'm a passionate American, and that's what I am first and foremost."

According to FOX Pop Tarts’ Hollie McKay, the “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” babe and her entrepreneurial partner David Babaii are being sued by 220 Laboratories for misappropriation of trade secrets, fraud, and breach of contract and confidence.

The plaintiff states that back in August of 2006, Hudson and Babaii entered into an oral contract with the volcanic ash suppliers, who agreed to develop and manufacture the hair care line.

But once the confidential ingredient list was exposed, Kate and David took the information and pursued other companies who offered them a more lucrative deal, such as Universal, the current makers of David Babaii for Wildaid.

With her new album “Do You Know” scheduled to hit stores September 9th, Jessica Simpson is pulling out all the stops to make her transition to country music a success.

The Texan teen got her start on PBS’ hit show Barney & Friends, where she met one of her best friends and fellow Disney star Selena Gomez.

Already out promoting the October 24th release of their new movie, Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale joined fellow HSM stars at Disney’s "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" Ultimate Fan Pep Rally.

Held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday (August 23), Zac and Tizzie teamed up with pals like Chris Warren Jr., Kaycee Stroh and Olesya Rulin - with the group doing their best in pumping up an already ecstatic crowd.

Shaking off a recent ankle injury, Madonna kicked off her highly-awaited “Sticky & Sweet” world tour Saturday night (August 23) with a performance at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium in Wales.

According to press on-hand, "an army of fans wearing pink cowboy hats and boas waited nearly two hours for Madonna's concert to get under way, erupting into screams at the first song — Candy Shop."

Reports from the Associated Press add: "The show itself includes eight costume changes, 16 dancers, and $1.85 million worth of Swarovski crystals. It is billed as a musical mishmash of gangsta pimp, Romanian folk, rave, and a nod to the blonde material-girl's roots in the 80s New York City dance scene."

Now that the opening show is out of the way, Madge's “Sticky & Sweet” tour will travel through Europe, with big night's at London's Wembley Stadium on September 11 and Paris on September 20 topping the bill. Then it's off to North America in October before the tour's end in Sao Paulo, Brazil on December 18.

Enjoying a work-free weekend, Miley Cyrus and a friend took their beach cruisers out in Toluca Lake on Saturday morning (August 23).

In the latest chapter of “Attached at the Hip,” Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were spotted out and about in Los Angeles yesterday having a marvelous time.

The “Labor Pains” actress and her DJ girlfriend wore matching white shirts as they tooled around town, smiling and laughing all the way.

For some retail therapy, LiLo and Sam stopped into Filthmart, a vintage clothing store, to comb the racks before heading to the doctor’s office for a checkup.

Finally, the could-be couple made their way to the Palm Restaurant where they enjoyed a late lunch and plenty of conversation.

She caused a bit of a stir when she sported a new piece of jewelry on her all-important finger, but Hilary Duff isn't heading to the altar just yet.

The former "Lizzie McGuire" starlet spent her Thursday afternoon (August 21) working out with a personal trainer in West Hollywood - being assisted out to her car with a brand new bulk supply of protein powder.

According to a source on the scene, Miss Duff also cleared up all of the rumors about a wedding with her hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie, insisting that she isn't engaged.

But with her 21st birthday coming up on September 28th, Comrie may just break out the diamond. After all, he has to top the $100,000 Mercedes he got Hilary last year.

They've been elusive in their talk and their reps aren't offering much up, but all indicators are pointing to a burgeoning relationship between Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift.

After getting Taylor to help out on a new video shoot in New York City last week, the Jonas Brothers frontman made his way to Taylor's West Palm Beach Cruzan Amphitheatre show on Sunday night.

Mishelle Rivera of Miami's Y-100 Radio told People magazine: "I spotted Joe quickly, but he was trying to hide from the crowds by tucking in-between a few people. He was wearing a baseball cap and real casual dress so he wouldn't stand out."

"He watched only her performance, then walked backstage to the meet and greet area. But when he saw people start to recognize him, he hid. It was real obvious he didn't want people to know he was there to see Taylor," Rivera added.

When asked if the two are, indeed, an item, Swift's publicist replied: "They are friends and she’s friends with all the Jonas Brothers." Meanwhile, Joe's rep has been dodging the question - not yet offering up a response.

Miley Cyrus will finally be old enough to drive on Sunday, October 15th, and she'll be ringing in her sweet sixteen in an awesome way.

The Hannah Montana starlet will be celebrating her big day by having special bash at California's Disneyland. There's also going to be a special fireworks display during what Cyrus calls "one rockin' night ... totally awesome."

Disneyland is home to Autopia, the Matterhorn and Space Mountain, which is perfect because Miley tells press “I LOVE roller coasters!”

Tickets for the event are $250.00. The public is invited to this birthday extravaganza and all of the proceeds will go to benefiting a good cause, The Youth Service America; a charity which helps improve the lives of people ages 5 to 25. The tickets go on sale starting August 30th.

Having laid low for awhile, Anne Hathaway is beginning to emerge into civilization again. And yesterday (August 20) she was spotted on her way out to lunch.

The “Get Smart” babe looked uber-chic as she strolled over to Le Conversation restaurant in West Hollywood to meet a gal pal, sporting a sexy strapless black dress and a pair of sandals.

For her follow up to “Get Smart,” Anne will be playing the role of Kym, an estranged daughter to the family who returns for her sister’s wedding in “Rachel Getting Married” (premiering at the Venice Film Festival next month).

Miss Hathaway recently told press that she love variety when it comes to the characters she plays. “My general broad thing that I look for when I’m choosing a role is I like to be the exact opposite of what was the last thing I played. I like things that frighten me. I like doing things I don’t believe I can do and sometimes I can’t do them and they don’t turn out well, and sometimes they do connect and that’s always good, that’s always such a relief.”

He’s come a long way from his boyish title character in the Harry Potter film series. And Daniel Radcliffe is all geared up to bring his stage skills (including nudity) to the Broadway stage when “Equus” opens for preview shows September 5th.

And of course, everyone is wondering what’s up with Radcliffe’s birthday suit action, since only English audiences have seen him in the play so far. He nonchalantly asserts, "It's only seven minutes at the end of the play."

He also told press that while he wasn’t extremely keen on reprising his role of Harry Potter for the next film “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” he couldn’t handle the thought of anyone else taking over the reigns.

"It would have been really hard to see someone else [play Harry Potter]. Especially if he was very good – that would kill me!"

It was one of the summer favorites over here in the States, and now Hancock is hitting Japan along with stars Charlize Theron and Will Smith.

Earlier today (August 21) the “I Am Legend” stud and his “Italian Job” gal pal were spotted at the big Japanese premiere, much to the delight of hundreds of Japanese fans.

This girl can’t seem to stay in one place for very long, and Kate Hudson was spotted continuing her nomadic ways in London, England yesterday (August 20).

The “Fool’s Gold” babe looked retro-cute as she left the Scotts Restaurant in Mayfair sporting a matching white jacket and trousers along with a multi-colored scarf and a blue and white striped oxford button-up shirt.

Up next for the beautiful blonde babe is the movie “My Best Friend’s Girl” starring Dane Cook, Jason Biggs, and Alec Baldwin.

In the film, Cook faces the ultimate test of friendship when his best friend (Jason Biggs) hires him to take his ex-girlfriend (Kate Hudson) out on a lousy date in order to make her realize how great her former boyfriend really was.

It wouldn’t be a party without Hugh Hefner and his Girls Next Door. The foursome arrived at the Mann Village Theater in Westwood last night (August 20) for the big LA premiere of “ The House Bunny.”

And given that the storyline revolves around a former Playboy Playmate who gets ousted from the Playboy Mansion, Hef and the girls had plenty of material to relate to.

In fact, Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson all had cameos in the film, something Anna Faris was a bit nervous about initially.

As previously reported by the Gossip Girls, Catherine Zeta Jones' grandmother passed away last week at the age of 91. And earlier today the “No Reservations” actress attended the funeral.

Back home in Swansea, Wales, Zeta-Jones looked somber, as could be expected, as she attended to her family and friends who all gathered to mourn their loss.

And according to a neighbor, Catherine Zeta (after whom her granddaughter was named) was quite the lady, living life as though she was much younger.

“I’ve known Mrs. Jones since I was born. She was a real duchess. She was extremely popular, always chattering to people, and very proud of Catherine, but never going on about her too much.”

And it sounds like Miss Spears has a new cheering section from an unlikely crowd - Christian singer/songwriter Bebo Norman recently released a song for the troubled pop princess in hopes that she’ll turn to Jesus in her time of need.

Of the song, Norman explained, “‘Britney’ is a song about what our culture says and does to young women these days. It’s about the lies we tell them about fame and money and what’s beautiful and what will give them life. It’s an apology for those lies. But more than that, it’s an invitation to the truth about a God who is bigger than the pain this world so often leaves them in.”

“ The House Bunny” opens in theaters nationwide tomorrow night (August 22), and last night the Mann Village Theatre in Westwood, California was the setting for the big LA premiere.

Everyone from Anna Faris to Emma Stone, Katherine McPhee, and Rumer Willis showed up to promote their latest project, about a Playboy Playmate who gets kicked out of the Playboy Mansion and is forced to move into a sorority house full of social misfits.

Even Hugh Hefner and his Girls Next Door showed up, looking absolutely fabulous, to see what all the fuss was about, along with High School Musical hottie Ashley Tisdale and Entourage star Emmanuelle Chriqui.

But the big news was that Rumer Willis’ entire family was in the house to lend her support. Parents Bruce Willis and Demi Moore along with Bruce’s girlfriend Emma Hemming and Demi’s husband Ashton Kutcher did some red carpet posing before heading inside to see the film.

And of course Rumer’s new boyfriend Micah Alberti showed up to congratulate his sweetie on her sure-to-be-a-hit movie.
