During the course of her busy day, Miss Jolie has also announced that she's "teaming up with Microsoft Corp., law firms and corporate law departments to create a legal system for children of parents involved in U.S. immigration proceedings."

Of the new initiative, AP reports tell that "The Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) will provide pro bono legal defense for unaccompanied children."

Explaining that the U.S. provides no legal help for the children of parents entangled in immigration court proceedings, Angelina tells, “These children often have nothing; no money, no support and no family, yet they come to America seeking its promises of a better life. But many end up becoming lost, traumatized, and ultimately forgotten."

Taking to Mexico for MTV, reality starlet Kim Kardashian glammed up the red carpet at the 7th Annual "Los Premios MTV Latin America 2008" Awards in Guadalajara on Thursday night (October 16).

Just arrived in the nation's capital following her leggings launch in New York City, Lindsay Lohan was out supporting girlfriend Samantha Ronson at a gig in Washington DC on Thursday night (October 16).

Doing their best to stay incognito, the "Mean Girls" starlet and her DJ mate headed into Lotus Range, where Samantha was booked to spin at the club for a charity fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network.

According to a source on-hand, "(Lindsay) initially appeared completely anti-social, asking for a screen to be put up so only a select few at Lotus could even see her. Instead of grooving to Samantha's tunes, she spent the first part of her girlfriend's set instead staring at a computer looking through MySpace."

The insider adds, "But then Samantha went up to Lindsay, shared a laugh and, according to witnesses, gave Lindsay a kiss that completely changed her mood."

As it turns out, Beyonce’s new album, set for release November 18, is going to double our pleasure, as it’s a double-disc package, with 17 songs in all. She’ll also release an 11-song single disc for those who prefer to be more conservative with their cash.

The first disc in the deluxe package will have a more romantic, chilled out vibe, and will be titled “I Am…Beyonce.” As for the second disc, it will contain more upbeat dance tracks, though the title will be kept secret until the release day.

As previously reported by the Gossip Girls, Madonna and Guy Ritchie are planning on getting divorced. And per a statement from Madge’s spokeswoman, it’s all about to get underway.

The Sun cited sources that claim Ritchie and Madonna want a divorce finalized by Christmas, though they haven’t agreed to a settlement yet. One source has already asserted that Guy stands to get $100 million from the Material Girl by the time everything is said and done

A close friend of the couple told press, "It's very sad. They were a great couple and brilliant parents. They just couldn't live together. Despite huge attempts to patch things up, they both knew deep down that divorce was in the cards. It wasn't a matter of 'if' but 'when.' As a coping mechanism, he turned to songwriting. "I got in a plane and went down to the Virgin Islands. I was completely by myself. I didn't want to be around anybody. So the next thing you know, it's me and a pen, and I sat down and wrote a lot of lines of this song, 'Nowhere To Go, Nowhere To Be.'"

Spotted out at the Henri Bendel boutique yesterday - Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina and sister Ali both showed up to lend their support at the launch of her new line of leggings.

Spending the weekend in Las Vegas, the always-romantic couple of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony secretly renewed their wedding vows early Sunday morning (October 12).

In a ceremony taking place over four years after they first tied the knot, Lopez and Anthony said their "I Do's" at Caesars Palace's Forum Tower Penthouse. Witnessed by two close friends, the service was officiated by Rev. Steven Smith, People magazine reports.

"It was totally a spur of the moment thing," a source told People. "They decided around 12:30 in the morning that they wanted to do it and started calling for ministers."
