Taking a break from her usual routine of working out and recording, Britney Spears was spotted out and about with her assistant in Studio City yesterday afternoon.

The “Gimme More” singer was all about furniture shopping, spending ample time picking out some new items for her home, and looking fit and trim in a pair of distressed jeans and a summery purple top.

And with all of that shopping, Brit had worked up quite an appetite, so she headed over to the Bond St. restaurant in Beverly Hills to meet up with her manager Larry Rudolph.

Rudolph is the guy responsible for helping the “Toxic” singer make her way to the top of the pop music industry back in the day, so it makes sense that Britney would be enlisting his services once again to help her mount a successful comeback.

The brand new mommy was spotted making her way to her Burbank, California dentist, sporting a very revealing black spaghetti strap shirt with a pair of belted jeans and some sandals.

The “Monster’s Ball” babe is already making the transition into working motherhood, as she’s started work on a new film called “Frankie and Alice.”

In her new role, Halle will play a woman with multiple personality disorder who struggles to remain her true self, rather than allowing her racist alternate personality to take over.

Following a stop in London, the Jonas Brothers have moved themselves along to Ireland - where they were spotted outside of their Dublin hotel on Friday (June 6).

The musical brotherly trio of Joe, Kevin and Nick performed a show later in the evening at RDS Simmondscourt - now heading off for a gig in Denmark on Saturday.

Meanwhile, it seems that the ladies love the Jonas Brothers overseas as much as they do in the States - but Joe Jonas tells that he has a bit of trouble with the English accents.

When asked whether he prefers English or American girls, Joe responded: "The accents are great here. I was walking down the street and I saw a pretty girl, so I thought I'd say 'hey'. They said something so cool, it was like 'hiyo' or 'heya' or something. That's like a karate noise, I thought I was going to be hit in the face."

And maybe now that her schedule's cleared up, Kate can squeeze in a little time for rumored boyfriend/champion cyclist Lance Armstrong.

An insider recently told the Mail, "Kate and Lance have been dating for a couple of weeks. She and Lance are both physical, passionate people. She's never been happier."

While divorces are always devastating, Ryan Phillippe took the breakup of his marriage with Reese Witherspoon extra hard.

But at the 2009 Australian in Film Breakthrough Awards it seemed as though the “Cruel Intentions” stud had finally found love again… with his “Stop-Loss” co-star Abbie Cornish.

According to witnesses, Ryan and Abbie had quite the chemistry, publicly displaying their affection without getting out of control, or constantly sucking face.

A source told press, "They were adorable. He had his arm around her and they were cozy and comfortable."

“Stop-Loss” director Kimberly Pierce explained the appeal that Cornish exudes. "We needed a girl who could knock back and drink the guys under the table, change a blown tire, whatever she needs to do. And she has that. She's that kind of girl."

Lauren Conrad strapped on her bowling shows and aimed for a strike on Thursday night (June 5) - attending the Bowlmor Lanes grand opening gala in Tustin, California.

Talking about the show, LC recently told Us magazine: "I think that Whitney will do really well with it. She is a very likable person."

Giving tips to help make the show successful, Conrad adds: "I would just tell her to have fun with it. She's always made it very clear on The Hills that she doesn't want her personal life involved on the show, so it would definitely mean that she would have to come out of her comfort zone."

It’s a big weekend in Nashville, with the CMA Music Festival just underway. And in the middle of all the hoopla is none other than Taylor Swift.

The award-winning country music newcomer was at the historic Ryman Auditorium last night for the CMA Celebrity Close Up series, and despite her young age, she held her own.

Taylor wore a conservative-yet-sexy little black dress along with the requisite pair of black leather cowboy boots as she interacted with the crowd, and even got on her knees to dance with a young fan.

And tomorrow, she’ll have a busy day ahead of her, as she’s committed to spending a full six hours doing meet and greets and signing autographs. She told press, "It’s been drastic to deal with the numbers of fans who want an autograph now, but I tell myself not to ever let it become a burden. Fans are the only reason why I’m here. I have zero record sales without them. I have zero songs on the radio without them. Without the fans I’m nothing, so why not give back?"

Miss Swift also commented on the welcome influx of fame, which is much different from her debut at the CMA Fest just a few years earlier. "I came to CMA Music Fest three years ago and nobody knew who I was. That first year, when people would come up to me and ask for my autograph, it felt so good, and I was so excited. That was a big deal to me."

During the interview with Letterman, Julia spoke at length about her marriage with her husband, cinematographer Danny Moder, whom she met on the set of “The Mexican” back in 2000.

And when the topic turned to arguments, Roberts asserted that she and her man don’t really fight, much to Letterman’s disbelief. “I mean everybody has a tiff,” the Late Show host exclaimed. Julia replied, "No! We don't. We don't really…That is a boring answer, but we don't really."

When it comes to curing boredom, Lindsay Lohan turns to dining and shopping. And yesterday she was all about both, with pal Samantha Ronson in tow.

The “I Know Who Killed Me” actress was spotted with her bleached blonde BFF having lunch at the swanky La Scala restaurant in Beverly Hills, before stopping at Hermes to comb a few racks.

And after their shopping endeavors were complete, the joined-at-the-hip pals, decided to clean up their act by having LiLo’s car washed and cleaned out.

When it comes to Lohan’s friendship with Sam, an insider says it’s all a matter of trust. “I just feel like they have a very loyal and trustworthy relationship, which is really hard to come across in the world that Lindsay’s in. It’s a trust thing. Lindsay just feels safe with her.”

Another pal commented, “[Samantha] truly is a friend to her. She’s a very positive influence …. [Lindsay] sees that and sees a genuine, good friendship.”

And as she gets older, the “So Yesterday” babe says she’s trying to break out of the goodie-two-shoes/just-a-kid stereotype. And her latest movie, “War, Inc.” was just the thing she needed, Duff says.

“A lot of people didn’t want to give me a chance for a long time, because I was doing movies where I was nice, and I was still a kid. But that put me in a box, and people didn’t want to take a chance on me. When I got this script, I flipped over it. I felt, ‘I need this, I want this.’ It was great just getting to play a character that was so out there and crazy.”

“Not only am I [cursing], but I’m smoking, letting boys put their hands … . The character was a bit vulgar. I don’t think using the … word would have bothered me if I had said it once or twice, but it’s throughout the whole movie. But I’m just acting.”
