While turning 50-years-old is seen by many to be a depressing time, Madonna was all smiles as she and Guy Ritchie arrived at the Volstead Nightclub for Madge's 50th birthday party on Saturday night (August 16).

Wearing thigh boots, a partially transparent chiffon dress and her Kabbalah bracelet, the "Queen of Pop" smilingly posed for paparazzi while holding onto her husband's arm as they made their way inside of the London hotspot.

And there's definitely reason to celebrate, as the Guinness World Records show that Madonna is the "most successful female solo artist EVER, selling around 120 million albums and 40 million singles - a combined total more than any other female."

Still not ready to slow down, the seemingly timeless, super-fit singer is currently preparing for her Sticky And Sweet world tour - which is scheduled to kick off in the UK later this month.

Opting to spend their afternoon soaking up the rays, Kristen Bell and boyfriend Dax Shepard were spotted enjoying a day at the beach in Malibu on Sunday (August 17).

After lotioning up his "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" sweetheart, Dax and Kristen engaged in a little seaside lovin' - also spending time chatting with pal and fellow beachgoer, Tom Arnold.

Meanwhile, Kristen recently finished up filming a brand new movie, "When In Rome", which is set in New York City - seeing "a young art curator finding herself aggressively pursued by a band of wannabe lovers after she steals coins from a Roman fountain."

In the Mark Steven Johnson directed dramedy, Kristen stars alongside "Transformers" hunk Josh Duhamel, as well as the recently signed on Miami Vice star Don Johnson.

She spent the previous evening hanging out with friends in Hollywood, but on Saturday afternoon (August 16) Miley Cyrus was all about family!

The "Hannah Montana" starlet joined up with her mother, Tish, as well as her brother and sisters for a shopping trip to Guitar Center in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, the 15-year-old Disney tween queen is basking in the the fact that she picked up her first MTV VMA nomination for Best New Artist for her hit song “7 Things”.

Miley will be facing off against fellow nominees including Taylor Swift, Jordin Sparks, Tokio Hotel and Katy Perry, with the winner chosen during the VMAs live broadcast from Paramount Studios on September 7, 2008 at 9pm.

Enjoying a lazy Saturday afternoon with family and friends, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren were spotted out with their baby daughter Honor Marie for lunch in Brentwood yesterday (August 16).

The "Sin City" starlet and her hubby took turns pushing around the stroller - which kept their little girl covered from paparazzi snapping up shots of the family throughout their dining excursion.

Besides spending time out with her oved ones, Alba has been spending much of her time watching the Olympics at home.

"Cash and I have been glued to the Olympics. How amazing was the opening ceremony?!? I still don''t know how they co-ordinated 2008 people to move in perfect sync," she recently wrote on her blog.

"The men''s 400M relay was insane. We were down by almost a half body length going into the final turn and then next thing you knew it was closer, closer, closer until we touched the wall first! Cash and I went crazy," she added.

It was the day they've both been awaiting for quite some time now, and on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon (August 16) Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi exchanged their marital vows.

"Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles," the couples' spokesperson told People magazine.

According to insiders on-hand, the tight-knit ceremony was attended by only about 20 guests or so, with Ellen and Portia posing for pictures with Ellen's mom and their dogs, capturing what was an oh-so-special moment.

"They were hugging and kissing, and looked ecstatic," an onlooker tells Us magazine. "Ellen was helping Portia with the train of her dress, which looked like a Cinderella tutu."

One week after her Hills co-star Lauren Conrad held a party at the Vegas hotspot, Audrina Patridge followed suit with a shindig of her own at The Nightclub in Las Vegas last night (August 16).

Accompanied by her sister, as well as her new beau, BMX rider Corey Bohan, Miss Patridge looked sexy in a shiny pink dress with black trimmings as she hosted the Christian Audigier party.

And while she’s currently focusing on tomorrow night's (August 18) Season 4 premiere of “The Hills”, Audrina has also landed a cameo role alongside Jerry O’Connell and Niecy Nash on the new sitcom “Do Not Disturb”.

Ready to show off her acting skills, Miss Patridge wrote on her official website: “(The show) takes place in New York City at a swanky hotel. I will be playing a guest checking into the hotel and I am going to film my scenes sometime next week! I think Jerry O’Connell is hysterical (have you guys seen his video on that Web site FunnyorDie!?) and I can’t wait to meet Niecy!”

Back home in the States after a short trip to visit her man Jake Gyllenhaal on the Morocco set of his new movie “Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time”, Reese Witherspoon set Saturday aside for time with her two children, Ava and Deacon Phillippe.

To start things off, the oh-so-cute bunch were spotted out for a one hour hike through Temescal Canyon in Pacific Palisades - with the Academy Award-winning actress also toting along one of her children's friends as they trekked in the 90 degree heat.

Afterwards, Reese, who wore a LA Dodgers cap, grey tanktop and white shorts, was all about cooling down and fueling back up.

Joining even more friends, she and the kiddies grabbed up a spot in the shade, relaxing with a sandwich and an ice cold water at a campground picnic spot.
