We’ve been hearing our favorite celebrities talk about their choice for the next President of the United States of America, but if it was up to Carrie Underwood, that wouldn’t be so.

She recently opened up about her disdain for Hollywood stars who get behind a candidate and try to get their fans to vote in the same way.

She told, "There is someone I do support, but I don't support publicly. I lose all respect for celebrities when they back a candidate. It's saying that the American public isn't smart enough to make their own decisions. I would never want anybody to vote for anything or anybody just because I told them to."

Underwood is especially displeased with musicians who have voiced their choice for President. "Music is where you go to get away from all the BS. Whether it's from politics or just the world around you, music should be an escape."

Bringing an end to her legal woes, Charlize Theron has reportedly settled a $20 million lawsuit after being accused of breach of contract by a luxury watchmaker.

Press reports tell that the bosses at Raymond Weil claim to have paid the Academy Award-winning actress a large sum to wear their watches exclusively between October 2005 and December 2006.

The troubles began at a press event in Austin, Texas in March 2006, where Charlize was photographed wearing a watch from the Christian Dior line. In April, Miss Theron then modeled a Montblanc watch on a billboard at a Swiss trade show.

After her lawyers' failing efforts to have the case dismissed, Charlize offered up a settlement agreed upon by Raymond Weil, although the terms have not been disclosed.

In the long line of celebrity voting endorsements, Lindsay Lohan has lent her voice to encourage Americans to get out and vote today.

Last night (November 3), the “Mean Girls” actress hit up her MySpace Celebrity blog, writing, "Sorry I haven't blogged in a minute. I've been traveling and trying to catch up on sleep! I thought it was important to just put a message out there tonight for anyone that is on MySpace at the moment.”

She continued, "So, here goes.. I cannot say how important it is for everyone to get out there and vote tomorrow... The future of our country depends on it. Just one vote can make such a difference... Vote - because your thoughts are worth it..VOTE - because YOU can make this country a better place... VOTE - because you can."

She also urged fans to “vote no” on two pieces of California legislature - Proposition 4 (which would require doctors to notify a parent/guardian before performing an abortion on an underage girl) and Proposition 8 (which would end marriage rights for gay couples).

Making a graceful post-pregnancy re-entrance into acting, Jessica Alba was spotted on the set of her new movie “An Invisible Sign of My Own” in New York City earlier today (November 4).

The “Good Luck Chuck” hottie was in full costume as she filmed scenes along with her young costar, sipping coffee in between takes.

And it seems that Jessica has been making the most of her time in the Big Apple as of late, bouncing around to various parties and social events, as well as spending quality time with her husband Cash and daughter Honor Marie.

Following her weekend arrival in the UK, Kate Hudson was spotted taking a leisurely stroll in London, England earlier today (November 4).

Though she dressed for chilly weather, the “Almost Famous” babe eventually took off her cream-colored overcoat as the temperature rose.

Never single for long, Hudson is now rumored to be dating a childhood pal - Los Angeles Clippers star Baron Davis. They’ve reportedly been friends since they were 16 years old, and now it seems they’ve taken their friendship to the next level.

The pair was spotted out in LA last month, with an eyewitness telling press, “Kate and Baron looked like they were on a date. They've been spending more and more time together since Baron moved back to L.A. this summer.”

Feeling a hankering for some Asian cuisine, Lindsay Lohan was spotted at her local Panda Express restaurant, grabbing a casual dinner-to-go.

Waiting outside patiently, girlfriend Samantha Ronson kept her pet pooch company while LiLo was inside getting the food.

The trouble began when “Desperate Housewives” stud Jesse Metcalfe was asked to co-host the event with Lohan. A source told press, "Lindsay was furious she wasn't the main star. The organizers had gone through a list of who was hot at the moment and returned to Lindsay again. But the feedback they got was really negative. They got worried and decided to change it. In the end it was decided by both parties it was better if she pulled out."

Making her way back to Mother England, Victoria Beckham was spotted arriving at LAX International Airport yesterday (November 3) to catch a transatlantic flight.

The former Spice Girl looked sleek as she pushed past the paparazzi in a black leather jacket, black sunglasses, black army-style hat, and a black handbag.

Speaking of the Spice Girls, it seems that Mrs. Beckham has turned down her invitation to ex-band member Melanie Brown's lavish Egyptian wedding.

According to a report, Brown is flying her friends and family to Hurghada for a four-day bash during which she’ll be renewing her vows with husband Stephen Belafonte (she married him in Vegas last year).

Now that she’s back from her European tour, Miley Cyrus is getting back into the swing of things at home in Los Angeles.

And yesterday (November 3), the “Hannah Montana” sweetheart was spotted doing some shopping at a local Best Buy store along with her super hot boytoy Justin Gaston.

Miss Cyrus looked fun and flirty in a plaid purple babydoll dress teamed with a pair of black stockings and tan boots, while Justin opted for a black t-shirt and belted jeans.

During her recent concert in Paris, France, Miley raised eyebrows by stating “I still hate you,” at the end of her hit “7 Things.” And given that the song is said to be about Nick Jonas, it seems Cyrus may still have some hard feelings.

Ready for another day of work on her hit NBC show, Hayden Panettiere was spotted on the Manhattan Beach, California set of "Heroes" on Monday (November 3).

The 19-year-old toted around her juice drink as an on-set worker kept the young actress covered with an umbrella prior to the day's filming.

Along with taking care of her onset obligations, Miss Paneittere has been politically active, praising the work of celebrities for raising awareness of tomorrow's US Presidential election.

"One of the major reasons why young people have come out and done so much to play a part in this election - and who are really getting out there and voting this time around - is because of the celebrity endorsements," she said.

Showing off two sexy looks, Paris Hilton was out for an appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman" in New York City on Monday (November 3).

Recently returned from a long stay in London, the hotel heiress visited Dave to promote her new movie "Repo! the Genetic Opera" - which hits theaters this Friday (November 7).

Besides promoting her new movie, Paris recently spoke with press about her political videos and their impact on potential voters, saying, "It's exciting to be involved in the biggest election in history. It encourages a lot of young voters to speak their voice and to vote."

"I was talking about issues and actually making sense but still playing with my image at the same time," she continued. "Doing it in a ditzy way, but actually saying things I think can really help it along."

Stepping out for the day, Kate Winslet was spotted hailing a cab in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan on Monday (November 3).

The award winning actress is currently enjoying a little downtime before she gears up to promote "Revolutionary Road" alongside co-star Leonardo DiCaprio in a few short months.

Still getting adjusted to life back home in the States, Paris Hilton was spotted out and about in Century City last night, doing a bit of shopping.

And though she’s had a long line of high-profile relationships in the past, Paris recently told press that she is so glad to have found boyfriend Benji Madden as he’s the first guy not to exploit her.

She revealed, "Every other guy I've been out with has used me for money or sex - but in most cases they just want fame. It made it hard to trust people."

Following a brief stint in New York City, Lindsay Lohan arrived back home in Los Angeles yesterday, spotted leaving LAX International Airport via chauffeured car.

The “Mean Girls” actress was traveling with girlfriend Samantha Ronson, though they made separate exits from the airport to avoid being photographed together.

And LiLo couldn’t wait to light up her cigarette after the long transcontinental flight as she made her way out of the terminal, lighter in-hand.

As previously reported by the Gossip Girls, the future of Miss Lohan’s acting career is largely in question, due to her truncated role on “Ugly Betty” and the fact that she simply has nothing on the horizon.

An insider told press, “It’s over for Lindsay, she’s got no film work, and after this [’Ugly Betty’ news], she’s not going to land TV jobs. I hear she’s even tried to get on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and can’t.”

Though Angelina Jolie may have played her in the movies, Alison Carroll is taking the character of Lara Croft to a new level. And the British gymnast was spotted hamming it up for the cameras at the Micromania Games Show in Paris, France yesterday (November 2).

Clad in a cleavage-and-midriff-baring top, short shorts, and black leather boots, Carroll was the center of attention as she showed off a few moves in the arrivals area.

And according to Alison, the act goes deeper than just appearances, as her own personality is comparable to that of Croft. "I’m quite similar to her, except for shooting things. I’ve fired a paint ball gun, but that’s about it. I really like paintball, it’s good fun."

She continued, "I do a lot of things that Lara does as well, I’m a total action girl. I’m into rock climbing, scuba diving. I used to have a horse and used to do horse riding and trick riding. I’m a very out-doorsy kind of person. I really want to try skydiving. I think I’d really enjoy that."

She’s been all over Western Europe promoting her latest album “Breakout,” and yesterday Miley Cyrus was spotted on her way back to the States.

The “7 Things” songstress, accompanied by her mother Tish, left her London hotel and headed for the airport to catch a transatlantic flight. And of course Miley looked happy to be returning to America, especially since her hunky boyfriend Justin Gaston is no doubt waiting with open arms.

Speaking of Mr. Gaston, it seems he had his own brand of Disney fun, dressing up like a Jonas brother (along with Miley’s sister Brandi’s boyfriend Sam Hancock) for Halloween.

As previously reported by the Gossip Girls, the pair, “played an inpromptu concert in the driveway of the Cyrus family home and gave out sweets and posed for photos while passing out candy to trick or treaters.”

Looking very much at home on the red carpet, Hayden Panettiere was spotted arriving at the 2008 Alfred Mann Foundation Gala honoring Placido Domingo last night (November 2).

The “Heroes” hottie looked amazing as she posed like a pro for the paparazzi in an off-the shoulder black floor-length gown complete with a silver accent shoulder strap.

And with the election just a day away, Miss Panettiere feels confident that young people will get out and vote like never before, thanks to the overwhelming celebrity push to get involved.

Quite the frequent traveler as of late, Lauren Conrad was spotted arriving into Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday (November 2).

The MTV reality starlet was returning back home following an Atlanta stop as part of her Lauren Conrad College Collection Tour - which offers runway shows of her new clothing collection at four major universities.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, LC's decision to hit the road and promote her designs comes after her line was dropped by Kitson owner Fraser Ross after she failed to make any public appearances to boost sales.

Believing that Miss Conrad has learned from her past mistakes, Ross told press, “At least she’s learning. It’s (the college tour) a great move. And if she ever wants to come back to us, saying, ‘Look, I made a mistake, let’s do a relaunch with a personal appearance,’ we would absolutely pick it up again.”
